Job Description

Selected candidate will become a part of Python team. He/she is not expected to be an expert in Python at the time of interview, and will be trained to start in Python. However, experience in python will be considered a plus.
Develop Web Applications working independently on small tasks and work as a team player, on design and development, in collaboration with other Software Engineers on large application.

Principal Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using HTML/JavaScript in combination with Python as server side technology.
• Maintain and modify existing applications on his own as well as under direction from seniors' team members.
• Should be willing to learn advanced tools and technologies like Django, Ruby on Rails etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Required

Applicant should have passion for programming and love for software development. Experience in following tools/technologies is a plus.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, XML, XHTML is a must
• Strong Concepts of Databases, Object Oriented Programming and Software Engineering
• Experience in PHP OR Python is a huge plus
• Experience in client side javascript libraries like jQuery or prototype is a plus
• Knowledge and experience in MVC architecture is a plus
• Passion and ability to learn new tools and technologies is the key for selection
